A seamstress sweeps pieces of colorful cloth, which were thrown from the second floor by a blacksmith’s wife. The tailor takes the “trash” and sews a quilt (Qormai), which becomes a symbol of hope and possibility.

Khadim Hussain Byhname was born into a cultural family in Ghazni, Afghanistan, in 1993. His interest in cinema led him to filmmaking. Khadim Hussain recently graduated from Kabul University. He has established the “Image of Thought” group and has made nine short films in three years. His films have been screened in domestic (Afghanistan) and international film festivals.
