Farah Bullara


Farah Jahan Siddiqui Bullara is a writer, activist, community organizer and president of the Board of Trustees for Golden Thread Productions, a San Francisco-based theater company dedicated to staging plays from and about the Middle East.

Farah also volunteers as an Event Organizer for Yalla Arabi, the Bay Area's Arabic language and culture meet-up group, and currently serves on the film selection committee for the Arab Film Festival.

Farah is passionate about the arts and has a special fondness for Middle Eastern dance and music, poetry and calligraphy. From 2013-2015, Farah served as a contributing feature writer for Aslan Media, where she wrote about the San Francisco/Bay Area’s vibrant Middle Eastern arts and culture scene.

For more than 20 years, Farah has enjoyed a successful career in Silicon Valley's high-tech industry, where she has worked for startups and Fortune 500 companies such as Intel Corporation.
