The Muslim Public Affairs Council, committed to developing leaders with the purpose of enhancing the political and civic participation of American Muslims, has profiled the WVN selection ”A Garden in Shigar.”

Arab Detroit
The Arab Detroit promoted Women’s Voices Now’s screenings from the WVN Short-Film Festival at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, which included two programs entitled “Collisions” and “Awakenings”, featuring films dealing with topics of tension, confrontation, and discovering one’s own identity.

Muslim Women In the Arts

Muslim Women In the Arts (MWIA) is a support group for Muslim women artists. Their main objectives are to enhance and promote high quality art and its marketing, to educate the general public about the creativity and talents of Muslim women artists, and to mentor Muslim youth towards the arts.
