About Save the Children (Pakistan)

In 2010, the people of Pakistan were hit hard by unrelenting monsoon floods. Save the Children immediately responded to the floods, sending relief workers to Pakistan to help children and families recover from their devastating loss. Save the Children implemented programs to provide shelter, medical aid, education, nutrition and other humanitarian relief to the victims of the flood. Save the Children also provides relief for women and children fleeing the fighting in north-west Pakistan by distributing life-saving and life-sustaining supplies such as shelter kits, and food.
