Mohammed Adel El Safty has worked as a journalist for more than 10 years in several newspapers, magazines, and websites, like Goodnews Cinema magazine, El Dostor, Egyfilm, and Box W Tol. He participated as a syndicate journalist and is now working for Rose El Yousef magazine. He works as an editor and scriptwriter for some radio and television channels like Nogoum FM and Al Arabyia Channel, and he prepares to make some films about Egypt. He wrote and directed Meat, El Ola, and 2 Afternoon, which participated in several festivals like International Film Festival For National Unity (2014) in Bahrain. He wrote and directed “Helwan… Moi” with L’Histore Du Jour’s French Workshop, which was selected in Beirut International Film Festival (Lebanon), Karama Film Festival (Jordan), and Sudan Film. It won a special prize in Giza Short Film Festival as “Award for Special Jury” and in the Arab World Festival Short-Film Bazru Ovens (Morocco) as “Best Script”, Special prize from “Nikon – Middle East” (Dubai) etc. the film was selected in Short Film Corner – Festival De Cannes” (2015). The film has been selected in 4 film festivals in Egypt, Jordan and Sudan.
