# Women's Voices Now

> Women's Voices Now (WVN) is an Emmy-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit that uses film to drive social change advancing the rights of girls and women globally. WVN runs an annual international film festival, curates a collection of more than 362 films by women filmmakers, and trains young storytellers from under-resourced communities. Tagline: Films by Women, about Women, for All.

Women's Voices Now operates three core programs: an annual international film festival for women filmmakers, the Voices for Change film collection, and the Girls' Voices Now youth development program. The organization holds United Nations ECOSOC consultative status and has been running its film festival annually since well before 2022.
