Synopsis

Five young women from the scenic Shigar Valley in northern Pakistan work with the Aga Khan Cultural Service Pakistan (AKCSP) to beautify a school and sow seeds of their own transformation.

A Garden in Shigar was an official selection of the 2011 WVN Online Film Festival.

Mahera Omar is a Karachi, Pakistan based documentary filmmaker and co-founder of Pakistan Animal Welfare Society.
