The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) loved perfume, women, and prayer. Violence against women in Islam today is an aberration of his vision for the Ummah.

Stoning Women was an official selection of the 2011 WVN Online Film Festival.

About the Filmmaker

Hejer Charf was born in Tunisia and is a Canadian director and producer. She lives in Montreal where she started Nadja Productions Inc. in 1996. A company that produces amateur and independent films. She wrote, produced and directed the long feature Les Passeurs that received the Peace Seal of Florence, Italy. She directed several short and medium-length films and documentaries. She produced the road-movie Victoria, written, directed and starring Anna Karina.
