The Shoe Project Shorts Synopsis
The Shoe Project Shorts is a compilation film with the first five short films produced by its participants. The Shoe Project recruits immigrant and refugee women to work with experienced writers to write stories of their arrival in and adaptation to Canada through a pair of shoes.
The short films are based on the shoe stories the five women participants wrote earlier. In this documentary, the five short films are each time briefly introduced by the filmmaker with clips we gathered during our online public screening on June 27th, 2021 (Canada’s Multicultural Day).
