Kelsey has been with WVN since 2013. She supports a greater plurality of voices in the women's movement and believes in supporting women as autonomous actors of change. Kelsey was a judge for the 3rd International Women's Film Festival in Herat, Afghanistan.

Kelsey is interested in foreign relations, human rights, diplomacy, and women's leadership. She earned a BA (Claremont McKenna College ’14) in International Relations with a focus on the Middle East.

After presenting research at the Women as Global Leaders Conference (2012) in Abu Dhabi, studying abroad in Jordan, and visiting Istanbul, Kelsey has sought opportunities to support a greater plurality of perspectives in the women's movement. She worked in global education at her alma mater and for the 2015 Kansas Women's Leadership Institute at the University of Kansas. She also has experience in public policy and advocacy for Save the Children in Washington, DC.
